I think I might have to spend the whole weekend writing to people. I've got to reply to a list of questions from the fact-checker who's proof-reading Josh's book (asking me about some things I've completely forgotten, naturally), reply to a few more interview questions from the BBC website guy who was here the other day (need to expound my 'filing cabinets' theory of memory in full detail), and reply to lots of emails from friends, fans and enemies (well, I haven't had any emails from enemies lately - perhaps they're not talking to me because they don't like me. Also, all my fans are my friends too, although possibly not all my friends are fans...)
Also, if anyone sees any business cards, bits of paper and such like fluttering around Beeston, could you give them back to me, please? They all fell out of my back pocket while I was cycling home from the supermarket tonight. I did manage to find all the credit/debit cards, luckily enough, but there's still some miscellaneous junk that's missing.
And also furthermore, I'm making a concerted effort to get every episode of Pocket Dragon Adventures on video, before Tiny Pop stops showing them and they disappear into obscurity again (actually, I think they're maybe going to release them all on DVD, but just in case they don't...) I've taken stock of all my old tapes and now I've got 70 of the 104 episodes. Maybe when I've got them all I'll somehow convert them to computerish files and 'torrent' them like some kind of genius hacker for the world to see. Long like Pocket Dragon Adventures!

Please could you upload all your pocket dragon adventures episodes to the web in as many places as possible? I really miss this show so much and I haven't seen it in like 10 years since I'm in the United States :(. Also, people have been requesting pocket dragon adventures episodes on Youtube cause apparently one person did upload one 10-minute episode lol but please if you could upload pocket dragon episodes, especially the full episode of "Attack of the 50 ft Binky" That's one of my favorites lol. Please if you would be so kind to upload episodes anywhere on the web I'll be your biggest fan :). Long live Pocket Dragon Adventures!
Tragically, I've only got the episodes on old-fashioned video tapes, and I haven't got the clever technical resources to convert them into high-tech computery files and upload them to anywhere that isn't my old TV set. On the other hand, it's extremely groovy to meet another Pocket Dragon Adventures fan! I only know one other in the whole of the internet, and he's also only got them on videos...
Don't worry Zoomster I've got you covered on the tech knowledge. now if you have a camcorder you may be able to send the output from the VCR through the camcorder and into your PC. Here this is what I'm talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgAh7XwkAlo&feature=fvw
Basically you just need some sort of digital device in order to digitize the information and the cheapest way if you don't have a camcorder would be to purchase a capture card which goes for about $35 USD but since I think you're in the UK somewhere (tinypop is from the UK I believe) it might only be a tad more expensive but really it's not as bad as it sounds. See the problem is the magnetic trip on the VHS tape will wear out slowly but gradually over the years so now would be a good time to upload them. Just tell me what dvd players, vcrs, cameras, capture devices you have lying around and I'll do my best to tell you how to convert them (You'll need a computer of course lol). Also, if you know any friends or neighbors that have capture devices that you can use that would be great as well. Don't worry I'll help you two get those episodes up somehow ;). It's just that if we don't act soon then this cool show will fade away just like many other cartoons have. So we gotta do our best to keep it alive :) as well as any other shows if we can.
So feel free to email me anytime you'd like at highertechcomputers@gmail.com
It's very easy to convert VHS tapes into digital computer files, all you need is either a camcorder or a video capture card and a computer of course but hopefully you already have that ;). The camcorder method would be the easiest method if you already have one. If not then just buy this for roughly 30 pounds including shipping and it will be money well spent http://www.amazon.co.uk/Roxio-Easy-VHS-DVD-PC/dp/B001O5CUJ4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=software&qid=1269214015&sr=1-1
:). I'm not sure if tiny pop is going to be airing many more episodes of pocket dragon adventures since it says on wikipedia that it was sold to russian television in 2008. So your best bet now would be to collaborate with that other pocket dragon adventures fan that you mentioned to see if he has any episodes you don't have then you could possibly torrent or upload the whole series or most of it anyway. The only challenge now is converting them into digital files which is actually easier than it sounds ;).
I have got a camcorder - I'll try that clever trick and see what I can do...
Thanks Zoomy you're awesome! :D Let me know how it goes. If you need any help just ask me cause I have a camcorder too so I can test out this method as well ;).
Hey Zoomy check this out! I just found another excellent vid for copying VHS tapes onto your computer. It's just a matter of having the right cables but the cables needed to do this are cheap anyway even if you don't have them http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRimE8Sildk
sadly I could not get my camcorder to capture output from my VCR because the camcorder I have only outputs to a TV and has no input compatibility like other camcorders do but heck my camcorder is one of those cheap HD camcorders with not a lot of playback and output features. So hopefully you will have luck with either the camcorder method or the method in the video I just linked you to. If I get to watch pocket dragon adventures again before I die then I'll be happy lol (sarcasm). Yeah sorry I'm a bit obsessed with this show since I used to like it so much lol. Oh and without any further ado here is the link to the cartoon blog I'm working on http://cartoon-addict.blogspot.com/ :).
Hey Zoomy OMG I just found one of the pocket dragon adventures animators on youtube because he's apparently one of the people who posted the show's intro on youtube. Here he even has a blog http://jgascon.blogspot.com/
I suggested to him that he should get the production company to do an entire release of the series on dvd and since they have already released a few dvds of the show with select episodes I thought that it might not be an entirely hopeless effort. Also, I'm gonna make a petition and have people sign it in order to get this onto dvd or something cause apparently I remember that a petition based request worked for the show animaniacs. but try and get as many of those episodes onto your computer as possible just in case they don't accept people's request for a dvd release.
