For the record, boxing is bad and shouldn't be watched

Nonetheless, I watched the big fight tonight, and it really wasn't much of a contest. Just like Andy Murray in the tennis yesterday. I really need to turn things around for British "sports" in the WMC in December in Beijing (I don't think I've blogged about the change of dates - remind me to talk about the WMC in more detail some time soon, please) but I worry that I'm getting too sidetracked by the celebrity lifestyle. I've got to spend the next week preparing for the 'real' edition of the BBC's new summer blockbuster - although the pilot version was so cool that I'm sure this is going to be a damp squib in comparison - and I've got another TV guest appearance coming up too. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to talk about it in advance, but basically if you just imagine the least appropriate show in the world for me to appear on, you'll probably guess it. I'll tell you later...

TV dreams

Making a TV show is really fun, I should do it more often. It's a shame that I'm not supposed to talk about this pilot until the series is broadcast, because it was great! I exchanged bantering remarks with the host and panel and didn't sound completely stupid, which is rare for me, and my memory performance was fun and different and didn't involve memorising a pack of cards, which is even rarer.

Also, I love BBC Television Centre. Someone needs to pass a law to force them to stay there and not sell it.
