It's officially Christmas, because I heard my first Christmas song playing in a shop today. Well, if you don't count the eccentric man who works in Smiths humming festive tunes in August. But I've never really got why "Christmas Wrapping" makes it to the standard British playlist - can anyone in this country really keep track of the high-speed American babble? Just stick to Slade and Wizzard.
