Putting the clocks back is the signal that I'll have to dig out my bike lights and resign myself to the miserable situation of spending all the daylight hours in the office. Or else I'll just emigrate to Australia. I'll see what I feel like doing.

Death snakes and *spiders -- however you probably have many relatives still living there, so it's a tossup; who wants to have to talk to relatives.
I'm pretty sure I've got distant relatives in Australia too. There's one murderer in my family tree who lived there (not a transported convict, just a guy who lived there and killed his wife, or something like that), so I can catch up with that branch of my illustrious family when I emigrate.
