Legalities

I like overhearing snatches of conversation from people on the street and then speculating on what they might be talking about. I just cycled past a gang of youths as one of them was saying, authoritatively if perhaps slightly drunkenly, "The only way you could be done for attempted murder is if he actually dies..."

I'm not a legal expert, but I'm pretty sure it's usually the other way round. But even so, have I overheard discussion of an actual murder attempt, or a joke? You can usually tell from the tone of voice, but this one really could have gone either way...

You've got to move to a better neighbourhood.

Would you mind answering a question that is completely off-topic? I was wondering how many times you have been formally scientifically studied by researchers of the type found in a university. I believe there is at least one study.

All the best,
Lili.

The only time I've been really, properly scientifically studied was in St Louis, back in July 2011. And even that wasn't a really completely extensive look at my brain, so much as just a part of a bigger general study.

I've also had my brain scanned by Boris Konrad and his gang in the university in Munich, and by another university in Tokyo, although I don't know if either of them found anything there.

There's probably scope for more studying of me, if anyone wanted to do it, but I don't expect the results to be spectacular or interesting...

I'm sure you have a hippocampus which any man would be proud of. If any of those studies are published they should at least should send you a copy.

Thanks for answering my question.
