Happy pi day! Which shouldn't really be a thing, because you have to put the month and day the wrong way around to make it 3/14. But waiting for the 31st of April takes longer than you'd expect it to, so we're just stuck with March the 14th, I'm afraid.
When you're memorising pi to fifty thousand places, as I saw fit to do twenty years ago, you come to appreciate the little interesting bits. Like the way, 18,351 digits in, it goes 559555955. I always thought that was very pretty.
One of these days, I'll go back and re-learn all those digits. It's more fun than you might think, I promise!
