Those adverts for mind-altering drugs to use on your cats and dogs. There's something deeply wrong about the whole idea. Though I'm tempted to get one of the things and plug it in, just to see what effect it has on me.

Hmmm I've never heard of such a product (apart from nepetactone rich plants for cats), but the concept does leave one a bit uneasy...
Not seen the ads but my ex housemate used to have a plug-in diffuser for her cat. She only used it when stuff was going on that would stress the cat, like bonfire night or if the cat was upset that one of us had gone away. It's supposed to be mother-cat type hormones that make then feel safe. Certainly worked for her cat.
