Oh this rain it will continue

One of the things about this house of mine is that the windows in the bedroom are skylights in the sloping roof. Which is fine, even rather cool, but I do tend to leave them open at all times, and not remember to close them when it starts to pour with rain (as it has been doing constantly for the last week or so).

I don't generally follow Charles Atlas's advice, seeing as how my body is already perfectly developed, but I've always liked his line "Never close your bedroom window". I just like fresh air flowing around me at night instead of being boxed into a stuffy, sealed room. It's just probably no good for the carpets under the window when they get rained on repeatedly...
