It's WOC (that's World Othello Championship) time again, in sunny Prague, so do go and check out the really awesome website, and follow along with the games on Live Othello! It's the 42nd annual world championship, you know - every year since 1977, which is the kind of history most competitions can only dream of. Piyanat Aunchulee has the perfect seven wins out of seven after the first day, but keep an eye on 11-year-old Keisuke Fukuchi, who's beaten such luminaries as Imre Leader and Ben Seeley already!
I really should make an effort to qualify for the WOC next year. I'll start practicing!
